Re: [xliff] XLIFF TC Call

Hi all,

I will probably not be able to join the call tomorrow, as I am scheduled to be in a ISO/IEC JTC1 WG9 meeting for the whole day.

However, it is *very important that the TC reaches quorum tomorrow* so that it can approve preparing the special majority ballot for XLIFF Version 2.1 cs01.

Here I post the motion language to be used tomorrow in the meeting:

I move to approve the TC Officers requesting that TC Administration hold a Special Majority Vote to approve XLIFF Version 2.1, the 5th working draft from 01 August 2017 [labelled in advance as Committee Specification 01] https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/xliff/trunk/xliff-21/xliff-core-v2.1-cs01.html, *.pdf, and *.xml (designating the html version of the specification as authoritative) and all associated artifacts at https://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/svn/xliff/trunk/xliff-21/schemas/ [Revision 967] as a Committee Specification. I further move that the TC affirm that changes have been made since the last public review, that the changes made are documented in http://tools.oasis-open.org/version-control/browse/wsvn/xliff/trunk/xliff-21/%21Admin/PR04_CommentsDisposal/Simple-comment-resolution-log_XLIFF_2.1_csprd04.pdf and that the TC judges these changes to be Non-Material in accordance with the definition in the OASIS TC Process (https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/oasis-defined-terms-2017-05-26#dNonmaterialChange).

Copying out the definition of Non-Material changes FYI

"Non-Material Change" is any change to the content of a Work Product that does not add or remove any feature of the Work Product and that: (a) constitutes only error corrections, editorial changes, or formatting changes; or (b) is a pro forma change to content required by TC Administration.

If and when the vote succeeds and the meeting adjourns, *the meeting minutes need immediately posted and proposed and seconded as meeting minutes of record*; the above motion language needs included together with the ballot result.

As soon as I see the meeting minutes approval seconded, I will initiate the cs01 steps with the OASIS Admin.
