organization?

Greetings!

The XMLVoc term for today is "organization."

The ususal suspects were of no help here.

Merriam-Webster offers:

a. association, society
b. an administrative and functional structure (as a business or a 
political party);

Obviously includes legal entity, standards body (upcoming term), but 
also less formally recognized entites, such as the IRA or PLO.

Question I have is more fundamental: Where would one use organization in 
an XML vocabulary? Is it meant to be a superclass that includes 
standards body, legal entity, etc.? If so, what purpose is served by the 
larger container? Does it only exclude individuals?
