Title: XRI 1.0 Approved as Committee Draft

XRI TC Members,

We had 14 (out of 18) members vote (all in favor) of the XRI 1.0 spec and thus we now have an approved Committee Draft.

I have uploaded the spec in both PDF and Word formats, and secretary Marc Le Maitre is working with the OASIS webmaster to have links to both added to the TC home page.

Thanks also to Gabe and Dave McAlpin for finishing the XRI TC FAQ - until we have the XRI Primer, it will be a great first step to orienting newcomers to XRIs.

Lastly, we delivered just in time for the OASIS Call for Participation for the XRI Data Interchange (XDI) TC which will be coming out tomorrow. Please do consider participating if you are not already signed up.

Again, thank you to everyone for helping reach this major milestone (and making it official this time).
