Subject: Slate of XRI 2.0 specifications (was Trusted Resolution)
Given that with XRI 2.0 we are going to be
publishing several specs, it strikes me that this is the time to break out
resolution from syntax if we are going to do that. So the XRI 2.0 family could consist of the
one of the following two slates of specifications: SLATE A: 1) XRI Generic Syntax and Resolution 2) XRI Trusted Resolution 3) XRI Metadata 4) XRI Primer SLATE B: 1) XRI Syntax 2) XRI Resolution (includes both generic
resolution and trusted resoluton) 3) XRI Metadata 4) XRI Primer Which way are folks leaning? =Drummond From: Dave McAlpin
[mailto:Dave.McAlpin@epok.net] It's possible that my notes are wrong,
but I show that the decision was to keep things the way they are - standard
resolution as part of the core spec and trusted resolution as a separate spec. From: Drummond
Reed [mailto:drummond.reed@cordance.net] I thought we decided to look at folding Trusted Res
into a separate XRI |
