Subject: XRI TC Unofficial Call: Fri 2/18 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern (properly formatted)

[Apologies for the formatting issues with the previous announcement]

On today's xri-editors phone call, we decided that as we transition into
releasing the current 2.0 drafts to the general TC body, we should
switch our xri editors phone calls into general XRI TC phone calls.

While we do have a handful of small substantive issues left to discuss,
we are about to transition into the phase where the input of TC members
is most valuable. We'll be publishing (and Dave McAlpin has already
started) our editor drafts for review by the TC body. There are several
documents that will be coming out over the next week or two, including
the Syntax and Semantics document (today), the Resolution spec, the
Metadata spec, and the Primer (which may come a bit later). We'd
appreciate your thorough and prompt review of these documents when they
are published, so that we can expedite the integration of feedback,
their adoption as committee drafts, and their adoption as OASIS
standards. I believe that the schedule for review will be a topic of
next Friday's phone call.

I encourage everyone who is interested in the XRI 2.0 specifications to
drop in on the call, even if they have not had a chance to read the
Syntax document in detail. I realize the timing is not ideal for some
participants, and if there is sufficient interest, we may again try to
accommodate those folks through alternating meeting times or other
means.

While these Friday calls are not "official" TC calls (which affect
membership), we will be having upcoming ballots which require a quorum
of voting members in good standing. If you have a question about your
status as a voting TC member, please do not hesitate to email me or
Drummond.

Dave McAlpin of Epok is graciously hosting next week's phone call:
