Subject: RE: [xri] An idea on XRI addressability of non-XDI data
Heh. Fair enough.
I'd like to see a document, or section of one of the core XRI docs, that describes how to use XRI attributes to make non-xdi data XRI-addressable.
xri:id -- The primary XRI that addresses the XML element it's on, adding //, possibly with XPath, addresses the content within the element
xri:rel -- Space separated list of XRIs, equivalent to dumbed down <link> elements
xri:about -- Space separated list of XRI's, each of which is an itag
Doesn't give full benefit of XRI obviously, but allows some benefit without converting whole schema to XDI, particularly when the schema already allows extension attributes on the elements from other namespaces. These could possibly be used within an XRD as well, as an intermediate step to using XDI in place of XRDS.
Regards,
Bill
