Yes, absolutely, that’s the classic
problem with spaces. I don’t see us changing the recommendation already
in XRI Syntax 2.0 to avoid spaces in native XRIs at all costs. The HRRI stuff
would only kick in where some publisher has decided to use spaces (perhaps because
of a text-to-identifier algorithm such as is used to address wiki headings as
fragments on a web page) and thus needs clear guidelines on how to encode them
