Just to close the loop on this, I'm planning to modify section 5.3 (Canonicalization) to read: > XRD implementations MUST use [Exclusive Canonicalization] without comments both in the ... and then section 5.4 (Transforms) to read: > Signatures in XRD documents MUST NOT contain transforms other than the enveloped signature transform (with the identifierhttp://www.w3.org/2000/09/xmldsig#enveloped-signature) or the exclusive canonicalization transform (with the identifier http://www.w3.org/2001/10/xml-exc-c14n#).
