I think the output for test case Whitespaces__91444 is wrong, probably due to mistakenly treating white space in CDATA sections as xml:space="preserve".

The exxpected output here is 22. Both Xalan-J and libxslt give 7, but I think they're wrong as well. I count 19 preceding, unstripped text nodes; but Saxon finds 21. Possibly Saxon is right and I missed a couple when counting by hand. I can't see any way to get 22 as the output requires.
