Subject: trax
Are we tracking this one? no pun intended. from xml.com ...TRaX is the result of collaboration by many XSLT processor developers and is thus likely to be adopted quite quickly. This will allow developers to produce XSLT-based applications that are not tied to particular XSLT implementations, circumventing one significant problem with the current state of affairs. Given the invitation of the XSL Working Group, it's possible that TRaX could be an important input towards, if not the foundation for, future developments of XSLT. In any case, it has real potential to become a de facto standard just like SAX, and no doubt it'll be supported by the major XSLT processors very shortly. http://trax.openxml.org/ -Dain -----Original Message----- From: owner-xslt-conformance@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:owner-xslt-conformance@lists.oasis-open.org]On Behalf Of G. Having only received one single substantive comment regarding the Call for Nominations, that being from David regarding the name of the committee (the inclusion of the files and the dialogue with the W3C are already indicated in the proposed deliverables), I will draft the submission for posting to the list tomorrow morning. After 10 days, none of the threads I started contained any more input regarding the draft work. I will assume I can then go ahead with my proposed answers to all of the issues I raised.
