Sorry to have missed the meeting, but again I had a conflict. I still hope that eventually the string of (coincidental) conflicts will end, and I'll be able to meet the attendance requirement to be re-established as a member. However... As I understand, OASIS still has not changed its proposed new IPR rules, despite numerous objections. Specifically, the rule that prohibits participation by individual members whose IP is owned by an employer. I am an individual member. My IP is owned by an employer. Therefore, if this proposed IPR rule stands, I will not be able to re-establish my voting-member status. Have I missed something? Did OASIS come to its senses and modify that stipulation? -Lofton.
