Approval of the Minutes of May 8, 2009. Minutes approved unanimously. 3. Proposal to meet Monthly David introduced the proposal to meet monthly. The initial decision
to meet monthly was reversed to accommodate additional time to harmonize the

meet every two weeks. 4. Status of the XSPA profile of SAML: The SAML TC decision to approve the XSPA Profile of SAML for a second

and the Privacy sub-team that is addressing issues related to Access Consent
Policy management and enforcement for the Nationwide Health Information Network. Duane offered a design document from the NHIN Connect effort that has
been adopting the XSPA profiles: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/xspa/email/archives/200906/msg00004.html Some differences were immediately identified, such as the focus on
supporting the HITSP TP20 model in the XSPA profiles. The use of 35 role codes from The larger set of values for POU in Table 5 (25
entries) v. the smaller number in the SAML profile (8). Mike noted a larger set of roles spanning more than clinicians is
preferred in the profile. Mike also noted that a smaller set of values in
purpose of use is preferred in the profiles. The TC decided to review the materials submitted and discuss in the
