XSPA profiles in HITSP specifications released for pubic comment today

The XSPA profile of SAML and the XSPA profile of XACML (OASIS Standards as of November 2) have been included in the current HITSP review cycle of the interoperability specifications and are open for public comment 11/9/2009 - 12/4/2009.  You can read how XSPA is used within the access control system (TP20) using the link below:

The XSPA profile of SAML was adopted as a normative standard (section 2.1.3.1.1).  The XSPA profile of XACML was included as an informative standard (section 2.1.3.3.2), since it describes the internal ACS implementation.
