Minutes of December 18, 2009 were approved by unanimous consent. 3. Guest speaker Abbie Barbir discussed how OASIS standards are
related to the ITU-T Standards Development Organization. Abbie has been very
involved in ITU and ISO. There is
an April ITU meeting and Abbie suggests recommending to OASIS that the XSPA
profiles be submitted at that time.
There is a waiting period of 9 months in which the XSPA TC could
substitute the international version is desired. ITU could help making the international version,
since they do alter submitted standards for the ITU format and audience. Abbie is convening a correspondence
group on e-health (correspondence group 17) which could be involved. David suggests we consider the idea and vote on whether to recommend
to the OASIS Board of Directors that the XSPA Profile be submitted to ITU. 4. Status of the XSPA profile of WS-Trust was discussed. Additional comments on how to profile the
core WS-Trust profile for XSPA are solicited. 5. There will be an XSPA demonstration at the March 1-5 RSA 2010
conference. Dee Schur will provide
an update on the booth assignment once confirmed. 6. Duane has suggested restarting the technical meetings that were
used last year to prepare for the HIMSS’09 demonstration. He will send an
announcement to the list. 7. The International version of the XSPA profiles is moving
forward based on the HL7 domain analysis and the proposed effort with ITU. 8. Additional discussion. Mike stated the last RSA demonstration was organized as a joint
OASIS/HITSP effort with grateful acknowledgement to the participants and
suggested the same arrangement for RSA’10. Mike will propose to HITSP that they participate. Some other organizations that might be
