The OASIS Cross-Enterprise Security and Privacy Authorization (XSPA) TC has completed its work and closed.
The TC launched in July 2008 to standardize the way healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, and insurance companies exchange privacy policies, consent directives, and authorizations within and between healthcare organizations. The TC approved the "Cross-Enterprise Security and Privacy Authorization (XSPA) Profile of WS-Trust for Healthcare Version 1.0" OASIS Standards on 01 November 2010, and the "Cross-Enterprise Security and Privacy Authorization (XSPA) Profile of SAML v2.0 for Healthcare Version 2.0" Committee Specification 01 on 23 April 2019.
As is standard OASIS policy, the archives of the Technical Committee will remain publicly visible on TC's web site at
https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/xspa/.
The TC email list will be closed but the archive will remain available at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xspa/. The comments email will remain open and will be accessible at
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/xspa-comment/.
Our congratulations and thanks to the members of the XSPA TC for their contributions.
