Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (AMQPBINDMAP-24) How to send any valid AMQP message through JMS?

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/AMQPBINDMAP-24?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=66060#comment-66060 ]

Robert Gemmell commented on AMQPBINDMAP-24:
-------------------------------------------

As discussed at the meeting on April 24th, work in this area isn't inherent to JMS and supporting it over AMQP and so largely wont be covered in the mapping document, instead being treated as implementation detail/behaviour a particular JMS provider might have and document accordingly.

Leaving the JIRA open for now to address any fixups in the mapping document.

> Messages sent through JMS should be readable (as much as possible) by a non-JMS client.
> I think there was some discussion previously about whether or not this capability is in scope for the current version of this spec.
