Arbortext Introduces “The E-Content Power Hour” Web Seminar Series

“How to Build Better Customer Relationships with Dynamic Content” kicks off
four-part seminar series

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 21, 2000 -- Arbortext, Inc., a leading provider of
Extensible Markup Language (XML) –based e-content software for e-publishing,
e-commerce, and B2B
e-marketplaces, today announced it will host a series of Web-based seminars
to demonstrate how organizations can create an easily-managed, content-rich
XML Web site to attract and retain customers.

These Web Seminars, called “The E-Content Power Hour”, will address how
organizations can leverage Arbortext’s Epic e-content software to create a
Web site that contains more information, is easier to navigate, simpler to
search, and personalized for the way organizations and their customers do
business.

Leading the discussion will be Chris Wolf, vice president of e-analytical
product development of West Group. Mr. Wolf will talk how the world’s
leading legal publisher is offering personalized content for each of its
customers by using a visionary application of XML technology. Paul Grosso,
vice president, research of Arbortext; and PG Bartlett, vice president,
marketing of Arbortext, will discuss how building better customer
relationships with dynamic content can expand to include e-business
applications.

“Building better customer relationships is all about providing the customer
with the information that is specific only for their individual needs, said
Chris Wolff, vice president of e-analytical product development of West
Group. “That’s the dynamic part – the information can change for that
customer each time they return to our Web site, it’s up to us to keep that
information fresh, accurate, and up-to-date.”

“There’s a lot of noise out there today on the potential of powerful,
dynamic, personalized Web sites,“ said PG Bartlett, vice president,
marketing of Arbortext. “The purpose of these seminars is to provide
organizations with the opportunity to listen to well-respected speakers in
different industries explain how their organizations have been able to
leverage the power of XML, and how XML powers e-content. Our goal is
provide attendees of these seminars with additional insight as to how they
can develop e-business applications using XML.”
