Arbortext Reports 19 Percent License Revenue Growth Year Over Year ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 23, 2002 -- Arbortext, Inc., the only global provider of XML-based software for multichannel publishing, today announced financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, 2002. The company reported that total revenue grew 10 percent over the same period in 2001 and that license revenue grew 19 percent over the same period last year and 14 percent over the previous quarter. Arbortext saw new and additional business in the second quarter from global customers including Ameritech, Canadian Pharmacists Association, GM Defense Canada, Ericsson Telecom, Maryland General Assembly, SAP, Saab Aerospace AB and Verizon Communications. This continued growth was achieved through a series of strategic business initiatives that drove product improvements that attracted both new customers and new sales channels.
