Subject: Six Sigma and BCM?
Just tripped across some 6S stuff - and there
would
appear to be some potential here - in that BCM
strengths
are 6S weaknesses.
Also - while 6S may identify the needs - BCM can
actually deliver them.
In terms of the 6S focus on customers - that's
fine
for a product world - but technology is defining
what customers will be able to aspire to
next.
Therefore - with its service facing view EPR
again
is a great compliment - since it allows
customers
to create their own innovation - where 6S is
weak.
Whereas - once BCM / EPR has established
a
community and processes - then 6S can optimize
those - and also analysize the shortfalls on
the
legacy systems side.
Anyway - looks like some interesting possiblities -
but first we need to solidify the BCM / EPR
base.
Details, details!
