I will add the topic to the audience specific list of papers we need to write that makes obvious the value of BCM. Quality BCM & CMM BCM & Sigma 6 BCM & BPM Industry BCM e-Health BCM e-Finance BCM e-Government Content Management BCM Metadata - done BCM e-Learning BCM Semantic Grid - done any more for the list ? carl <quote who="David RR Webber"> > Just tripped across some 6S stuff - and there would > appear to be some potential here - in that BCM strengths > are 6S weaknesses. > > Also - while 6S may identify the needs - BCM can > actually deliver them. > > In terms of the 6S focus on customers - that's fine > for a product world - but technology is defining > what customers will be able to aspire to next. > > Therefore - with its service facing view EPR again > is a great compliment - since it allows customers > to create their own innovation - where 6S is weak. > > Whereas - once BCM / EPR has established a > community and processes - then 6S can optimize > those - and also analysize the shortfalls on the > legacy systems side. -- Carl Mattocks co-Chair OASIS (ISO/TS 15000) ebXMLRegistry Semantic Content SC co-Chair OASIS Business Centric Methodology TC CEO CHECKMi v/f (usa) 908 322 8715 www.CHECKMi.com Semantically Smart Compendiums (AOL) IM CarlCHECKMi
