Hi Carol,
Hope your foot is ok again ?
David Webber has sent you the call for participation of the PSQA
(Public
Supervision & Quality Assurance) alliance conference being held in Karlstad, Sweden the 27th of June.
Representing OASIS BCM-EPR SC and EPR-forum we have now succeeded
involving
- SN,Standard Norway ( www.standard.no ) and it's eForum
(
www.eForum.no)
- SIS,Swedish Standards Institute (www.sis.se )
- ICT Norway (www.ikt.no )
to sponsor and organize the first alliance conference.
The conference meeting will have focus on eGov services in Scandinavia regarding PSQA-food and PSQA-finance
so it will be very dedicated eGov groups that are invited. Through
OASIS BCM we also have some nice relations to US DoD, navy and DEFAS
and american involved companies that David will co-ordinate.
We will prepare for a
broader conference this fall.
I feel this event could also be a nice opportunity to start-up the OASIS
test bed
idea. The necessity of agile business interaction in PSQA is
obvious with
its stochastic needs of inspections and tracking information in whole
value
chains. Loosely coupled applications handled by eFolders and OASIS
standards
will be an nice enabler in these role based solutions through SOA
oriented superportals.
As you know we do have a close relation to OASIS standards, but needs a
better
relation to the UN initiatives as UN/CEFACT and the GS1 and UNSPSC
initiative and EU initiatives. Do
you have some ideas here ?
It could be nice with some comments from you Carol, and that you and
Pim could participate
on our next session this fall ?
PS !
Has sent e-mail to John Gøtze (OASIS staff), but he has not responded.
Is he still part of OASIS staff ?
Best regards
