BIAS TC WSDL - First cut

The first revision of the BIAS WSDL document is posted at:

We still have some decisions to make regarding the issues I brought up at the meeting yesterday.  Here is a recap:

 

1. The schema elements and types in the INCITS document have not been assigned a namespace, so I had assigned http://www.oasis-open.org/bias/bias-1.0 as the target namespace.  However, the OASIS guidelines at the link below seems to suggest that the namespace should begin with ‘http://docs.oasis-open.org’ rather than ‘http://www.oasis-open.org’.

So, I propose that the WSDL and the schema belong to the target namespace: ‘http://docs.oasis-open.org/bias/bias-1.0/’.  Please feel free to offer other namespaces that might be more appropriate and conform to the OASIS guidelines.

 

2. We must identify and describe the fault messages associated with each operation.  As Cathy pointed out during the meeting, we had talked about 2 sets of fault messages, one set describing system faults and another set describing business problems.  We should take the time to identify the structure and content of each fault message.

 

3. We must add the bindings for port types.  SOAP over HTTP/S will be one.  Will there be others?
