NIST's Statement of Use

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has successfully implemented and is using the OASIS Biometric Identity Assurance Services (BIAS) (Committee Specification approved 03 August 2011), produced by OASIS Biometric Identity Assurance Services Integration TC, in accordance with the specification’s conformance clauses as required in the TC Process Section 2.18. This use does not include the interoperation of multiple independent implementations.

This statement of use will change as other implementations become available as this will allow the interoperation of multiple independent implementations.
