Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-705) Add support forexternal content references for 1.1
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-705?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=24527#action_24527 ] Alexander Haag commented on CMIS-705: ------------------------------------- It's make sense for the backend system, but creates a little problem for the client side. 1. Document has "internal" content, we know length, MIME and other information about the content. (CMIS 1.0) 2. A Document is just on the library server but has "external" content using the URI property: - What MIME type is it? - Will be there a predefined MIME value notifying that there is external content? - Do we need additional properties for contentStreamLength,MIME and contentName per URI entry? - What is the name of the content stream "cmis:contentStreamFileName"? (If document name and content stream can be different.) - Or are the content specific properties all in a "Not set" state? 3. If a document have both "internal" and "external" content, what would be the MIME type, ContentStreamLength? 4. Is there a possible problem for browser binding, if the URI points to another domain?(Cross Site Scripting) > Add support for external content references for 1.1 > ---------------------------------------------------- > > Key: CMIS-705 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-705 > Project: OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Domain Model > Affects Versions: V1.1 > Reporter: Jay Brown > Priority: Minor > > I have written up a short proposal describing support for external content in CMIS 1.1. > I will add the link for the proposal shortly and reference this record in the doc. > This Jira issue is for discussion of this topic. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
