I do think there will be some impacts and questions for the Browser Binding.   For example, in the mainstream use case where the internal content stream is not set but the external stream is set, would I post a multipart form to create an instance of cmis:referenceDocument and include the 'external' stream with the post, will the server takes case of storing the content into the external repository and then sets the cmis:externalContent property to point to that location?  

What is the guidance for search crawlers using getContentChanges?     Are they supposed to fetch the content of cmis:externalContent and index it?   If so they can't do it efficiently since they don't know whether the external content has changed.
