Subject: Re: DITA for Enterprise Business Documents Subcommittee

Hi Michael,

Sure - just let me know date/time and I'll be happy to attend!

Just remember that as a general rule, all work of any part of a Technical Committee -whether the committee as a whole or any of its subcommittees must be carried out on OASIS servers in the appropriate repository area. Each subcommittee has its own area that is shared with the TC as a whole - this includes a roster, documents, emails, action items, etc. While a subcommittee can't make decisions on behalf of the TC, their meetings should be minuted, attendance recorded, etc.

Regards,

Mary

Hi Mary,

At today’s meeting, a number of the subcommittee members expressed interest in having you join us for a meeting in the near future. They want to be sure that we understand and properly implement:

·         the general responsibilities of subcommittee membership
·         protocol for meetings, emails, and papers
·         intellectual property guidelines

Most of our active subcommittee members joined long after the original orientation that you provided when the subcommittee formed. If you could point me to the latest written resources for subcommittees I will distribute those as well.

Thank you,

Michael
