Meeting summary:
1) The meeting opened at 09:00 ET.
2) The meeting focused on the current draft presentation to the DITA TC, reporting on work so far.
3) It was suggested that the tasks to date, and recent reviews, provided scope for a crisp and concise re-statement of the problem.
4) A distinction was drawn between the concepts of Aggregated Authoring ("what") and Aggregated Documents ("how").
5) The discussion noted that there is a content strategy requirement view, and a CMS view. Linking these is a problem space regarding how to work with individual (topics) or aggregated documents, bearing in mind that DITA has mechanisms for supporting both models already.
6) It was noted that the tooling interface can mask the distinction between individual or aggregated content. At the same time, this simplicity might also mask the enterprise-level benefits of DITA.
7) The need to provide vendors with a set of recommendations for implementation was restated.
8) It was agreed that an extra meeting would be held to help progress the SC work.
9) The meeting closed at 10:15 ET.
