Ok, this works fine :)

Tim, if you want me to have a look into why the installation of the pdf 
files failed, I would need a pointer from where I should start my 
investigations and what is tested for. I guess that the test doesn't 
find passivetex. BTW: I'm using Cygwin.

Otherwise I leave this for Marcel Telka who's maintaining the Cygwin 
port of your tool.
