wordperfect?

Hi all,
I saw mention on this list that some people are using wordperfect for docbook.

my son had a copy lying around so I installed it on wine wp11.
I can't figure though how to open an exisiting document and how to tell it to use the latest docbook version.

I want to try it out but the dtd it provides is old.

The documentation on wine isn't loading for me, though I am googled and saw that the documentation is pretty thin for xml (is it?)

I am using nxml mode for editing so I am not hurting for a good editor but I really do want to figure out how to get this working.
