I don't see that belonging in mathphrase. When designing something simple to be used as a convenience at times in place of something more complex that is already available, it should be very simple. If someone can't accomplish the desired equation using just (#PCDATA|superscript|subscript|%ubiq)*, then they should use the existing equation markup. So I'd prefer mathphrase to be very simple. paul
