DOCBOOK: prevent splitting of block elements?

Is there a way to prevent the contents of certain block elements
(like <screen>) being split across page boundaries? In cases where the
elements contents doesn't fit on a page I would like the complete block
moved onto the next page. 

I'm using:
  DocBook V3.0
  DSSSL modular stylesheets V1.44
  Jade V1.2.1 and jadetex V2.9
  teTeX V1.0.6
