Subject: Ideas on TimeToPerform
Dear Team, Please accept a few ideas on how extend the flexibility of BPSS. The attached diagram shows how a TimeExpression/TimeDuration may be extended by inheritance. Static means a fixed duration and by putting the timeToPerform value in an XML element (and not in an attribute) its possible to put any inherited valuespecification inside the tag. By using the inheritance mechanism it is possible to add new mechanisms for determining timeToPerform or any other value, in the future without breaking the BPSS model an XML schema. Example of xml format provided only for discussion purposes. Another production rule is likelly to be better. <TimeToPerform> <Static>2004-01-01</Static> </TimeToPerform> or <TimeToPerform> <Property>reference to any other property in current BPSS or referenced CPA</Property> </TimeToPerform> Thanks /anders -- ///////////////////////////////////// / Business Collaboration Toolsmiths / / website: <www.toolsmiths.se> / / email: <anderst@toolsmiths.se> / / phone: +46 8 545 885 87 / / mobile: +46 70 546 66 03 / /////////////////////////////////////
