Action items completed:

draft proposal for flattening content model inside CollaborationRole

David Webber responded with a positive remark about the general direction but with a cautionary note about “overuse” of the IDREF mechanism for reusing elements.

(However, see Pim proposal below; there is a general tension between supporting reuse to avoid repeating identical chunks of XML and using IDREFs. Possibly the xinclude mechanism proposed earlier should be considered as an alternative mechanism for reuse? Or maybe a real throwback to “entitity references” !?! )

Action items pending:

Pim’s proposal to use xinclude to simplify CPA construction.
Check new section 8.4.16 consistency with appendices, etc.
Schema changes to accommodate flattening option and xslt conversions from 2.* to 3.0 level.
ebMS 3.0 survey of changes. Waiting on table summarizing MEPs and Pmode values used in configuration, and relation to syncReplyMode values of 2.0.

Dale discussed MessagingCharacteristics and BusinessTransactionCharacteristics options. Pim proposed allowing reusability of elements by IDREFs to patterns. Dale will draft proposal for TC discussion.

Monica asked about cardinality for ProcessSpecification, Role and Service within CollaborationRole elements. She will recapture previous discussions in BPSS and ebBP for options in this area.

Pim asked about management services for CPPAs. Dale noted that wsdls for CPPA management services had been drafted during the discussion of negotiation of CPPA business processes. Pim will review those as a starting point for discussion.
