Future of EKMI TC

To all EKMI TC Members:

OASIS Policies require that Technical Committees meet certain standards to remain open. The current roster shows 4 voting members at most (including the 2 Chairs and Secretary); the last meeting appears to have been scheduled back in October although there is no evidence that this meeting actually happened and there have been no further emails relating to the TC on the list since that date. 

The last documented meeting was back in August; only 3 members attended.

There are several options available to the TC:

1. To re-establish regular meetings, a list of work items to be completed, and increase the number of participants to maintain at least the minimum requirements

2. To vote to close the TC (all work of the TC will remain publicly visible)

3. To remain silent, which will result in TC Administration being required to close the TC in accordance with the TC Process.

While I would love to see the group become re-energized, if that isn't going to happen I would much prefer option #2 over option #3.
