Subject: A challenge for EML - showing value in E2E implementation scenarios

Team,

Having pushed out the open letter today - initial feedback seems to show that our audience is not getting it in terms of the essential need of EML in E2E.  Rather its seen as a nice to have, maybe, with other possible options.

To me its quiessential to a voting solution that you would be using an open public verifiable standard for the recording and counting!

Where are we coming up short here in engaging with the E2E community in the US particularly - to articulate what the key value proposition is for EML - and why this needs to be an intrinsic foundation layer - solving this will I believe deliver key value across the board.

Perhaps we can start to put this together in terms of bullet points initially?

One that I see immediately - comes from the recent webinar - in that one can provide EML test suites for conformance testing that are open and public - a critical part of certification that today in the US is still very much under defined.

Thanks, DW
