Subject: RE: Open mail list
A short answer: Human markup is a set of XML-based definitions to enable someone to create there own language to describe humans, human cultures, and communications. Drawing on multiple sources such as research in semiotics, hermaneutics, etc., we have created some prototype work to support this. The area that should be of interest to the entertainment industry will likely be the work on deriving genre languages. These would incorporate rules of different art genre to enable and author to more easily create web entertainment products, and others such as critics and students to annotate existing works. All of this work is preliminary and we have a lot of work for willing and able hands. Len http://www.mp3.com/LenBullard Ekam sat.h, Vipraah bahudhaa vadanti. Daamyata. Datta.
