Subject: RE: [legalxml-courtfiling] Document and Resources

Title: RE: [legalxml-courtfiling] Document and Resources

As Editor for the TC, I am to help provide appropriate templates for the specifications and other work products produced. I have not completed this yet, but am working on it. It will entail learning how best to use the OASIS Docbook templates and it will involve modifying the templates to ensure that the work products are identified as belonging to the Legal XML Court Filing Technical Committee. I have discussed with Robin Gibson some ideas on how to maintain and track versions of our documents via the Web site. We will, in time, have our systems developed and in place. In the meantime, anyone who would like help in this area for a specification on which they are working should contact me individually.

Regards,

Roger

Hi Jim -

Oasis provides a set of guidelines for "spec tools" at
http://www.oasis-open.org/spectools. The "tools" include templates for xml
documents based on the DocBook dtd and stylesheets for transforming an Oasis
xml spec into html or pdf. We used these in preparing the Court Document 1.1
spec.
