Minutes: September 12 Springboard ECF Initiative Biweekly Meeting

 

1.       Sorry I didn’t get to everybody’s emails & chat messages during the call (I’m not very proficient at multitasking)

2.       News updates

a.       Quick intro: Pamela Wise-Martinez from PM-ISE (grant sponsor)

b.      Chris Traver from BJA (another grant sponsor)

                                                               i.      Grant-funded technical assistance (TA) for government organizations is possible

                                                             ii.      Make requests known and they will be considered on a case-by-case basis

c.       Face-to-face OASIS ECF TC meeting Friday, September 20, 8:30-4:30

                                                               i.      Hilton Baltimore (after CTC)

                                                             ii.      Contact Jim Cabral if interested (jcabral@mtgmc.com)

3.       Test Harness: what participants can expect

a.       Reminders

                                                               i.      Participants will not be charged for utilizing the Springboard Test Harness during its testing period

                                                             ii.      But only one participant may use it at a time and availability may be sporadic

                                                            iii.      The core features to be used by participants are available in the open-source version of soapUI

b.      Demo

                                                               i.      Once all the soapUI projects are ready to deploy, they’ll be made available to participants (to bootstrap soapUI implementations in their own test labs)

                                                             ii.      Contact Scott if interested in obtaining any particular test suites before then

                                                            iii.      Current priority is to first create test suites Civil and Criminal case types for the Filing Assembly and Filing Review MDEs

4.       Future calls will continue to be held every other Thursday, 4:00 to 5:00pm Eastern (Sep. 26, Oct. 10, etc.).
