Subject: Re: [legalxml-intjustice] Development of Object Repository

Catherine,

Thank you for the information, very informative. It appears that you
have all been busy for the past while!

It seems to me that the solution this integrated justice community is
trying to come to is very, very similar to solutions that everyone else
is looking for (everyone else = military, large international
businesses, government, etc.). I assert that ebXML Registry is a dead
on perfect solution for managing the data dictionary information due to
its inherent versioning, association, classification and distributed
stewardship capabilities. ebXML Registry + a version of JXDDS split
into separate Objects by global complexTypes, simpleTypes and elements
would provide an efficient means of publishing JXDDS in a way that
promotes reuse and smooth version transitions.

A new group in OASIS has sprung up called CAM, or Content Assembly
Mechanism, which may also be of interest, as it was bourne out of the
need to provide an entity assembly mechanism from ebXML core
components, schemas, or UBL.

If I can be of any help in the decision process involving ebReg, please
let me know.

Regards,

Matthew MacKenzie
