[OASIS members] Press Release to Announce OASIS WSDM TC

OASIS Members:

The Consortium is in the process of drafting a press release to announce
the new OASIS Web Services Distributed Management Technical Committee
(WSDM TC). We have targeted Thursday, 27 February, for distribution.

While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our
technical work, we have a policy to list only Sponsor member companies
in announcements directed to the press. The higher Sponsor member dues
underwrite the cost of promotional activities such as press releases.
All OASIS WSDM TC members--Sponsors, Contributors, and Individuals--will
be listed in OASIS member communications and on the OASIS web site.

The OASIS WSDM TC press release, therefore, will include the following
statement:

"OASIS Web Services Distributed Management Technical Committee members
include Actional, BMC Software, Computer Associates, Hitachi, HP, IBM,
Novell, Sun Microsystems, webMethods, <INSERT NAMES OF OTHER SPONSOR
MEMBERS WHO JOIN TC BEFORE 25 FEB> and others."

If you represent an organization listed above, please notify me only if
you do NOT wish to have your company name featured.

If you represent an OASIS Sponsor organization that isn't listed above,
but you plan to join this TC before 25 Feb, and you would like to be
included in the press release, please notify the TC co-chairs, Heather
Kreger of IBM (kreger@us.ibm.com), Winston Bumpus of Novell
(wbumpus@novell.com), and me.

TC members at the Sponsor level that would like to send a quote on
behalf of their organization in support of this new TC, may email that
to me. Please include a name and title at your company to whom the quote
can be attributed.

If your organization is not a Sponsor member, and you would like to be
featured as a major participant in the OASIS WSDM TC press release,
please contact Scott McGrath (scott.mcgrath@oasis-open.org) for
information on upgrading your membership to take advantage of this
promotional benefit.
