New Auto Repair Member Section open to all Members of OASIS

OASIS is pleased to announce the formation of a new Member Section for
Auto Repair, as a reflection of the increased interest in the Auto
Repair Technical Committee and other work emerging in this area.

Under OASIS guidelines, any member company can affiliate with this new
member section within 60 days of the formation of the Member Section,
when joining or renewing their OASIS membership.  Affiliating with a
member section allocates a portion of your dues to the member section,
provides your organization with a vote in selecting the Member Section
Steering Committee (which has budgetary control over your dues
allocation) and formally recognizes your organization as a member of
the member section.  Member section affiliation neither restricts your
participation in any other OASIS TC or activity, nor does it increase
your dues expense.

This new member section is expected to support the ongoing work of the
existing Auto Repair TC, which is focusing on emission systems within
the scope of European Commission Directive 70/220/EEC , as well as
other emerging work as identified and prioritized by the Member
Section Steering Committee.  Questions about the specific scope of the
current or future work of the Auto Repair Member Section should be
