OASIS Board of Directors and TAB Election Ballots Open 1 June

Notification of the availability of online ballots will be distributed via email to each organizational member's Primary Representative and/or designated Voting Representative. Each OASIS Sponsor and Contributor member organization may submit one ballot with votes for up to five individuals for the Board of Directors, and four for the Technical Advisory Board. Ballots list candidates by name and organization. Completed ballots must be received before 24 June, 13:00 hrs, 11:00pm US EDT.

Sponsorship opportunities for OOSD Tokyo

China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS), East Asia Electronic Commerce Association (EA-ECA) and OASIS will sponsor the China-Japan International Joint Forum--OASIS Open Standards Days Tokyo 2004 on 15-16 June in Shinagawa, Tokyo. The event will include two days focused on examining global standards related to electronic commerce. Standards organizations from China, Europe, Korea, Singapore, and the U.S. will come together with end users, government agencies, and IT executives to share information about electronic commerce and e-business standardization.
