It will be great if this discussion can continue. The view settings surely cause some interoperability issues. For example:

(1)ShowGrid: Some applications put it on the global document settings, but some other applications put it on the sheet level settings. I prefer the sheet level settings.
(2)HasColumnRowHeaders: Some application put it on the global document settings, but some other applications put it on the sheet level settings. I also prefer the sheet level settings.
(3)DisplayFormula: This list on the wiki does not list this setting. Its meaning is that the formula is displayed as formula itself or as the calculated value. If it is true, display as formula, if it is false, display as value. I propose to add this setting item to the sheet level settings.
