Subject: Re: [office] Proposed Dependencies for CD Reviews: Package, ODF,Formula

Dennis,

we actually have drafts for all three parts, but parts 2 and 3 have not
been edited by Patrick so far.

Part 2 is at:

http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/29629/OpenDocument-formula-20081010.odt

Part 3 is at:

http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/office/download.php/25267/OpenDocument-package-v1.2-draft6.odt

The dependency of part 1 from part 3 would only be an issue if we
require references to specific sections of part 3 within part 1.

Best regards

Michael

[I am assuming that the Metadata Manifest Ontology (Appendix H) goes in Part 3 as does the non-normative[?] aspect of the appendix C on file-name extensions for document (MIME) types currently in Part 1.

I can see the possibility of a second CD for Part 2 just because it is substantial and there may be many useful comments in a first review. It also strikes me that a second CD for Part 1 will be called for, not only because there is new material, but because there is a major reorganization and I expect this will provoke deeper review.
