Yes, it embeds the fonts I use in my texts, if its license allows it. I 
have got LibreOffice on Windows. I cannot test it on MAC or Linux, but 
not working there would be a bug of LibreOffice.

It is not limited to SVG fonts.

OFFICE-2600 is about where to store such font files in the package. That 
is an independent problem. The needed elements for storing the 
information in content.xml and styles.xml already exist.
