Subject: RE: [oic] RE: Requesting SC34 WG4 Liaison
Hi all - I had a chat with a couple of people here about this and thought I'd share some info I gleaned. A liaison with JTC1 allows OASIS to attend pretty much any SC meetings. WG meetings don't have a concept of liaisons (they're just a group of experts) so if OASIS formally announce Dennis as their representative for the SC meetings I think he can be added to the attendee list for any WG meetings he wishes to attend. I think OASIS can do that by emailing the secretary, Kimura-san (contact me for her contact details). Typically these announcements would come from the relevant TC chair. Hope that helps, Chris -----Original Message----- From: oic@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:oic@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Svante Schubert Sent: 24 April 2013 01:09 To: oic@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: Re: [oic] RE: Requesting SC34 WG4 Liaison Hi, such a face2face meeting is always an excellent source of information and having Dennis as one of our most active members located in the Seattle area makes this a great opportunity. Therefore allow me to second the humble support just before the e-ballot, which is a good idea.
