Subject: [rights] FW: Announcement: Acknowledgement of Open Digital RightsLanguage (ODRL) Version 1.1 Submission Request
Rights TC: OASIS would like to be able to comment on the attached W3C announcement, and needs a consensus opinion from the RLTC before we do so. How does this proposed work relate to the work being pursued by the RLTC? Is it duplicative or merely similar? Can we tell W3C that this work is already being pursued at OASIS? Please address this issue at your next meeting and send me a reply. </karl> ================================================================= Karl F. The ODRL has no license requirements and is available in the spirit of "open source" software.
