Anish explains issue - anything that may appear in a component type side file can also appear in the implementation file - in particular, intents have not yet been considered

Mike R.'s proposal covers how intents can be specified

Danny:

declare an intent to the committee that future extensions of the component type are also considered

we may reopen the issue then
