addressing recent public comments

I made a first pass over the comments received for the two
holder-of-key profiles:

There are more issues than I thought, seven in all.  Except for one
issue, I included a suggested course of action gleaned from both the
online and offline discussion.

I have not yet modified the specs.  It will save time in the long run
if everyone is on the same page, so please review the above document
when you get a chance.
