Subject: Making the Process better

In order to
structure the debate(s) a litttle better the two co-chairs (Patrick
and Jacques) suggest that we adopt the following rules:
1. People having
some "guideline section" assignments, will post versions of these whenever
they should / are ready.
2. If they get
editorial comments / complaints, they fix these. But if some content is
controversial and raises discussion on the mailing list (or in the editor's
head), the editor must extract a corresponding "issue" and post
it on our wiki (discussion/issues) , and the discussion is to resume on
this wiki thread.
3. At some point,
when the "issue" has been sufficiently beaten-up, either a consensus or a
vote occurs to make a decision on how to resolve it.
From the latest "TA
Anatomy" posting (V0.5) and follow-up discussion, I figure that 4 issues are to
be resolved by the TC before going further. I just posted them on the wiki under
"discussion/issues":
see issues #11, #12,
#13, #14
Also, proposed a
resolution / illustration on issue #9.
Regards,
Jacques
